JULIAN LEVI - 1900-1982

Julian taught at the Art Students League and at the New School for years.  I posed for him at The New School and for some private classes.  Somewhere there is a portrait of me done by him and sold to a private collector.  He was a good friend of my fathers, along with Kuniyoshi.  When we lived on Perry Street, he lived around the corner on 4th Street near 11th.  A lovely guy.
