For Wet Canvas

Drawings inspired by French artist Albert Robida for project at Wet Canvas.

Collage cats sleeping on old painting scraps

These turned out pretty well

Where are the cats?

Pasted my little cats on the wrong background...You can hardly see them. Will try again.

Collage papers

I love to do collage cards. I find it very relaxing. I try to use my own paintings and paper for most of the work. I have all sorts of painting scraps and I also make my own design (above) I took an excercise from Mary Todd Beam's "Celebrate Your Creative Self" I just scribbled crayola crayons and kitchen wax on a large paper, covered it with black gesso and then scraped off portions and added gold or copper paint. Originally I tried to make paintings out of them, but ended up using the paper mainly for collage.

Curtain Photos

I just discovered that pictures I take on my Iphone come out pretty well. Before I had great collection of ceilings. Here are two I liked a lot. Maybe I can turn them into paintings.

Sketches for Wet Canvas

Here are two sketches I did for Wet Canvas Photo paint-a-long. They are having some trouble over there...so I'm posting them here for the time being:
