The Miners

For a project on wet canvas.

My Favorite Artists-Doris Lee 1905-1983

A contemporary of my fathers, born the same year, died the same year. I remember growing up knowing her work...so my father must have known her. The art community was small then. Wish he was still around, I have so much to ask him.

Here she is and some of her paintings. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doris_Lee

My Favorite Artist's-John Lidzey 1935-2009

A wonderful watercolourist from the UK.
